Malinga and Gayle making themselves hazy for their countries

According to the latest sources, Lasith Malinga and Chris Gayle have given more importance to IPL than their respective countries. Sources said that Lasith Malinga has been playing in IPL ignoring Srilanka's England tour to be started from May 26. Malinga has filed his documents stating that he has been injured by Knee, and is not fit to go for the tour. He has been continuously playing in all matches of Mumbai Indians.

Another player, Chris Gayle, has decided to replaces Royal Challengers Bangalore's Nannes. He has put IPL over West Indies because of which the West Indies Cricket Board is upset with the player.

This has been a regular practice now where the players are more interested in games which can fetch them money and quick fame. It seems to be a kind of obligation for them to play for their respective countries. Given a choice between playing for money, or playing for country, most of the young players will go with money. Will cricket with a hard core profession soon?
